From arteascuola.com 20 worksheets to create a large poster of a work by Giotto. The fresco depicted is "The Flight into Egypt" painted by Giotto between 1303 and 1305 in the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua. Each student receives a rectangular part of the painting and an image from which to copy the colors of the original fresco. We work by simulating the execution of a large fresco in "giornate", that is the part of the painting that an artist manages to do in a day. The photocopies were colored with pencils and each student tried to imitate the colors of the fresco as much as possible. In the worksheets we find 20 sheets that make up the poster, the numbered grid to assemble the sheets and the color images to print or open on a computer or tablet. To assemble the various rectangles just follow the reference grid and the numbers under each image.
